Beaches 'Stroller' Fitness
Outdoor fitness for mothers with young infants and toddlers. Stroller Fitness with Beaches Fitness is a full-body workout with a strong focus on the hips, thighs, butt and core. The class is a circuit-training style layout with cardio bursts throughout to keep your heart rate elevated and the calorie burn at a max! No fancy stroller is required, even a wagon will work for this class! A great way to meet other mothers in your area and get the kids out in the fresh air.
Beaches 'Sunset' Fitness
An outdoor "bootcamp" style fitness class while the sun sets. This full-body workout is great for friends to take together, no matter what their level of fitness.
Beaches 'Backyard' Fitness
An outdoor "bootcamp" style fitness class in the privacy of a fully fenced backyard. This full-body workout is great for group of friends to take together, no matter what their level of fitness. If you have a group of mom friends that would like to workout together, bring your kids and they can play while we workout!
Beaches 'Baby' Fitness
***will be offered in Leslieville and The Beaches (East End & West End) in September 2010***
"Beaches 'Baby Fitness' classes got me out and motivated after my homebirth! The friendly faces, the laughs and the warm environment make it a great place to come and get back into shape. I feel safe and comfortable exercising with the other women, and I know that my son is having a great time interacting with the mamas and the other babies".
Beaches 'Family' Fitness
For mothers or fathers with children 3-5 years of age. Children will be an active part of the workout.
Beaches 'Belly' Fitness
Pre-natal group fitness class for expectant mothers. This class is a full-body workout modified to meet the needs of women going through pregnancy. The focus of this class is to encourage health and fitness throughout the pregnancy as well as prepare for birth and the months to follow.
Group fitness class that incorporates ballet, jazz and modern dance styles as well as pilates based exercises geared towards improving dance technique and elongating muscles in order to achieve the “ballet body”. No dance experience required to enjoy this class!
For mothers with infants & toddlers up to 3 years of age. Babies (under 22 lbs) will be included in workout. Older children are free to play in attached playroom. There are also many swings and exersaucer available for the babies to use. This is a child and parent friendly atmosphere which includes a great full-body workout!
