Weight Loss - Through overall wellness... we will not just focus on your workouts, but on your nutritional habits, stress management and much more. Weight is not lost in the gym alone... it is part of the bigger picture. I work with my clients to understand their daily habits and routines and help them make healthier choices.
Strength Training - Not body building, but overall strength training. Muscle imbalances, poor diets and stress can create aches and pains throughout your body. Proper strength training along with stretching, healthy dietary choices and allowing your body to rest and recover will leave your feeling 10 years younger. The toned body is just a happy side affect of a healthy life.
Pre and Post Natal Health and Wellness - New and expectant moms get so much information thrown at them and each pregnancy (and recovery) is so different... how are they suppose to know what to do? I have worked with moms for over a decade now and I continually keep up with new courses and research to ensure I am helping moms in a safe and effective way.
Diastasis Recti Correction - New moms keep hearing about it... and not so new moms are finding out that they have had it since childbirth and always brushed it off as "mummy tummy". I have corrected my own Diastasis Recti as well as helped many other moms over the last 10 years. This field of research is constantly changing, but 1 thing that everyone agrees on.... not all trainers are qualified to help with Diastasis Recti. Make sure whichever trainer you work with is certified and trained on the safe exercises for you.
Specialized Training for Aspiring Dancers - As a professional dancer, I was always in top condition and maintained a very healthy lifestyle. Although I was in great shape, I did not have the knowledge or guidance from a trainer to improve on my weaknesses and prevent injuries. I will design a program for each client that is geared towards their strengths and weaknesses in order to prevent injuries and prolong their dance career.

Virtual Training
This package is perfect for everyone with a busy schedule, but still determined to work with a personal trainer. Each month, participants will be offered a personal training session either in person or online. Throughout the month, support will be offered via Skype, email and phone. Participants will be held accountable and will be motivated to meet their goals. Programs will be designed for your personal needs and will ensure a safe and effective workout. Without proper education, most women are not aware of which exercises are safe during pregnancy and postpartum. As a new mother I found there to be a lack of fun and affordable pre and post natal fitness programs. Beaches Fitness offers private sessions as well as group training sessions to help guide women through the changes their bodies are experiencing. Group classes are also offered throughout the year as an affordable alternative to private sessions.
Diastasis Recti (Abdominal Separation)
So many women are affected by diastasis recti (some are not even aware of it) and most do not know how to correct it. I have been through it myself, after my first pregnancy, I had a fairly large split... after my second pregnancy, it seemed like it was going to be impossible to ever correct it. I also had 2 hernia's from my pregnancies and had to have them corrected. It took time and a lot of work, but I have been able to correct the split and get my stomach back again. Most women are not aware of the proper way to work their stomach muscles once they have an abdominal split, and are causing more harm. I will work with you to make sure you train your muscles properly and regain your flat stomach!
